Queer Representation and Visibility in Doctor Who
A while ago I got an ask inquiring as to my opinions regarding GSM representation in Doctor Who. I struggled to answer this as, I feel, each queer character in Doctor Who is treated differently and whilst some representations are positive others are problematic. As a result I decided to create this series.
This series will look at a variety of characters who fall outside the hetronormative parameters normally depicted in the mainstream media. Hopefully, giving a general overview of the positives and negatives of each portrayal. I shall also be including a few posts on GSM representation in Doctor Who as a whole.
Yaaaaay! I can’t WAIT for this. ^_^
